Every year, Humanities researchers in Australia win substantial grants, publish new and exciting works, and collaborate on innovative projects -- and yet the audience for such successes and advances have traditionally been quite small. Conference presentations are given and institutional websites highlight researchers' achievements and endeavours, but networking the Humanities too frequently stops there.
The ACHRC provides a platform for robust series of annual meetings, where research leaders from universities and public institutions can meet and discuss issues of importance for Humanities research in Australia. In between face-to-face meetings, this site offers researchers, Humanities centres, and cultural institutions the opportunity to share News of successes, works-in-progress, and to turn a Spotlight on current individual and collaborative projects.
