Annual Meetings

Our Annual Meeting is the central event of the ACHRC calendar. It combines our AGM with a symposium addressing significant practical issues of concern to Humanities-based researchers in the tertiary sector in Australia, New Zealand and beyond, with a focus on research centres as a strategic cornerstone of that sector. We advance our member initiatives such as Humanities in the Regions, Collaborating with Collecting Institutions, and the Early Career Research Network. We run workshops and/or pre-meetings focussing on specific areas of centre-based Humanities research.

2023 Annual Meeting: A roundtable discussion at the University of Sydney Thursday 30 November: “Where do research centres in the humanities and creative arts now find themselves?”
